Local Voices. Lasting Impact.
We’re proud to announce the launch of a new webpage dedicated to the Community Working Group (CWG), a diverse group of engaged residents, business leaders, Village Association members, and subject matter experts who are helping shape the future of water and wastewater infrastructure in The Woodlands.
While the CWG doesn’t make decisions, it plays a critical role in enhancing transparency, encouraging dialogue, and ensuring that community perspectives are considered throughout the Water Renewal process.
What the CWG Does:
- Offers feedback on infrastructure plans and policy ideas
- Fosters public awareness and information-sharing
- Highlights community concerns and questions to project leaders
- Encourages transparent conversations around funding and rates

Together, we’re building a more informed, engaged, and water-wise community.
Water Renewal The Woodlands is a partnership between local MUDs, Woodlands Water, and San Jacinto River Authority.
