GM Erich Peterson, PE, updates Township Board of Directors on Bear Branch Dam

Woodlands Water GM Erich Peterson, PE, presented updates on Bear Branch Dam to The Woodlands Township Board of Directors. Erich reported that the MUDs have approved full funding for the design phase of the Bear Branch Dam modification project, ensuring the entire scope can now move forward. The Township Board also approved a letter of support to state leaders and agencies, underscoring the project’s importance. In addition, the Township Board backed a letter to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in support of federal participation in the Bear Branch–Panther Branch drainage project, aimed at improving flood protection and emergency access in our community.
